AI Engineer

Join Techstello as an AI Engineer and build practical AI driven systems, automation layers, integrations, and intelligent workflows across the Applications pillar.

Role Overview

Core Focus

The AI Engineer supports Techstello's Applications pillar by developing and maintaining AI enabled tools, automation layers, and intelligent workflow systems for internal and client operations. This role focuses on practical AI implementation, not theoretical experimentation. The position works across prompts, APIs, data inputs, automation logic, integrations, testing, and system reliability to help Techstello deliver smarter digital infrastructure.

The role connects technical delivery with business process improvement. The AI Engineer helps translate operational needs into usable AI systems that can support content workflows, customer interactions, reporting, internal tools, lead handling, process automation, and decision support. Success in this role depends on technical accuracy, structured problem solving, responsible implementation, documentation discipline, and the ability to improve systems without creating unnecessary complexity.

About Techstello

Built to work across every service pillar.

Techstello builds digital ecosystems across strategy, design, marketing, software, automation, operations, customer experience, and business process optimization. Every role is expected to work with clarity, structure, and the discipline needed to support reliable execution across the company.

The purpose of this role is not limited to completing isolated tasks. It is designed to support the way Techstello connects ideas, systems, campaigns, platforms, processes, and people into coordinated work that moves with quality and accountability.

Responsibilities

What To Own

The AI Engineer owns the practical build quality of Techstello's AI enabled systems. This role is responsible for turning automation ideas, workflow requirements, and operational problems into reliable AI tools that can be tested, improved, and used in real business conditions. Ownership includes prompt logic, model behavior, data handling, integration flows, API connections, automation triggers, testing cycles, and documentation. The role must ensure AI systems are not treated as isolated experiments, but as structured delivery assets connected to measurable output, process efficiency, client experience, and internal execution quality. The AI Engineer is expected to maintain reliability, reduce unnecessary manual work, identify weak points in AI workflows, and support continuous system improvement.

  1. Build AI enabled workflows, assistants, and automation layers for internal and client use.

  2. Develop prompt structures, logic flows, and model instructions for consistent system behavior.

  3. Connect AI tools with APIs, forms, CRMs, databases, and workflow automation platforms.

  4. Test AI outputs, edge cases, failure points, and system reliability before deployment.

  5. Document AI configurations, workflows, dependencies, and improvement requirements.

  6. Improve automation performance based on usability, accuracy, speed, and business value.

Required Skills

What To Bring

  • Strong understanding of AI tools, language models, prompt engineering, and applied automation concepts.

  • Ability to work with APIs, webhooks, workflow automation platforms, and structured data inputs.

  • Practical knowledge of software logic, system testing, debugging, and technical documentation.

  • Ability to translate business problems into clear AI workflow requirements.

  • Understanding of model behavior, prompt structure, context management, and output consistency.

  • Strong problem solving skills with attention to edge cases and failure scenarios.

  • Clear communication skills for explaining AI systems to technical and non technical teams.

  • Ability to maintain implementation discipline, version control awareness, and structured delivery standards.

Preferred Experience

What We Look For

  • Experience building AI assistants, automation workflows, internal tools, or process based AI systems.

  • Hands on exposure to OpenAI tools, Make, Power Automate, Zapier, LangChain, vector databases, or similar platforms.

  • Experience connecting AI tools with CRMs, forms, databases, websites, or business applications.

  • Examples of AI workflow documentation, prompt systems, automation diagrams, or working prototypes.

  • Exposure to web development, backend logic, cloud functions, or integration based projects.

  • Experience working in an agency, SaaS, operations, or digital transformation environment.
